Manager - Hotel Sales
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishing and maintaining senior level relationships globally within the hotel industry
Strategically positioning and selling AgentWare’s Rate Monitor product within the hotel industry
Designing and implementing strategic plans and objectives
Creating long-term objectives relative to retention and growth
Educating, presenting and participating at travel industry forums such as HITEC and HEDNA
Meeting fiscal and business objectives of executive management
Communicating global industry needs, developments and opportunities to appropriate areas
Negotiating and monitoring contracts
Provide input on new products and product enhancements
Good team player
Leadership skills
Develop and maintain department budgets
Flexibility in work schedules
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
Bachelors degree
Ten or more years experience in the hotel industry
Minimum of five years industry relations experience with direct responsibility measuring, analyzing and meeting fiscal and business objectives preferably with a hotel
Ability to learn quickly and without formal instruction
Ability to write effectively for client communications and prospective client RFP responses
MS office suite and Outlook experience preferred
Ability to present new ideas and convey them effectively internally and externally
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key hotel contacts
Good team player
Leadership skills
Positive attitude, not easily influenced by others
Ensure that departmental goals are met and/or exceeded
